I learnt to read pictures long before words. It is perhaps why I became a photographer. I learnt to read words in London, playing truant from school in the coldest February I had known. I learnt to ‘read’ the wireless (radio) long before words in books, but I still love stories and telling stories, hence my obsession with books. More truthfully the pictures in and from books.

Tan Y Grisiau Sonnets: The telling of two stories, each fourteen frames.  All from one man and all one book, but from the opposite ends of his life, but happening at the same time.

Tan Y Grisiau Sonnets: Photocopies bound onto card cover, W 41 cm x H 29 cm, Ed. 1/1, 2008
