I am a fine artist with a passion for books. I like to explore the dark side of our personalities through my own personal experiences. I often work with mirror images which I use as a metaphor for looking at ourselves and our unconscious thoughts. The things we try to hide within ourselves to make ourselves more presentable to society.

I like images that are hidden within an image and prefer the viewer to make up their own
mind about a particular piece of work. By not revealing too much you allow their unconscious to take over. There are many processes to my work including photography, photo shop, printing, drawing, sewing and binding. I love to play around with different ideas and to be able to hold the finished product in your hand.

My books take on many different forms often an expression and extension of myself. They often have something old or well used attached to them like a piece of hair, old clothing or cotton threads. By using these materials I am reaching out to the past or holding onto something that has long gone.
