My boxes are a symbol for the life within the confines of a home
environment. They refer to the complex dramas and relationships that are
played out within this environment and are constructed from an
especially female perspective. I am trying to represent these multi-faceted emotional narratives with the boxes being both a direct and ambiguous metaphor for these heightened states of feeling experienced in the domestic life of the home. Box Room Series - Etching, collage and pins. H18xW10xD2.5 cm. Ed.1/1. 2007 |
